I guess from time to time we have all stood back and admired some magnificent architecture whether that's a historic monument of World Heritage status or a brand-new modern design structure such as Europe's tallest building known as The Shard that dominates the skyline of central London or possibly the frighteningly massive Burj Khalifa currently the world's largest building and the jewel of Dubai.
Architecture comes in all shapes and forms and is not always practical. One of the most insane pieces of architecture has to be the "upside down house" that is designed to look like it literally fell out of the sky very similar to Dorothy's home in the Wizard of Oz. This crazy piece of architecture is designed by a Polish architect and is proudly displayed in the Austrian town of Terfens. Images, articles and video clips of this house can be found in a listing within this architecture section called " upside down house in Terfens" It is well worth a look.
